At Chris' job they get every other Friday off so this last Friday we went to the Splash Pad in Riverdale. The kids had SOOO much fun and it's a little easier than taking 2 toddlers and a baby to the pool -especially since Penelope likes to be held most of the time and Gabe and Cai always want to run in different directions. This was our first time going and since we got there right at 10 on a weekday there were only like 4 other kids there, it was super nice! If you have kids and have never been I would definitely recommend it!!
We also had a fabulous 4th of July!!!! The Sunday before the 4th we went to Chris' parents and had dinner and did fireworks with all the cousins. It was way fun and I always love watching the kids have so much fun with their cousins!
On the 4th we woke up bright and early and headed to the Layton parade. The kids got lots of candy and it was pretty nice out since it was a little overcast. Then we went home and had mi familia over for dinner and fireworks! It was way fun celebrating our first big holiday at our house with everyone!!

I just blogged about the splash pad too! :) Your pretty lucky no one was there because typically during the day it is packed. It's always nice when there's not a lot of people there. We love that place! I think we spend more time there in the summer than we do anywhere else.

Hey I want to go to the splash pad next time! Looks like the kiddos had a blast! And um...YES to a BBQ! Can't wait. ;)
