To end our summer with a bang we were able to go on one last vacation with mi familia to CALIFORNIA!!! We also hit up Virginia City and went on an awesome dinner boat cruise of Lake Tahoe. It was a lot of fun seeing as how we LOVE the beach. We've been lucky enough to go twice this year and Virginia City was basically awesome! It's this little town in Nevada that's been lost in time and looks like it's straight out of a Western movie, there were tons of cute shops and we had our traditional Western style family pictures taken. Here are a few pics to highlight our trip!!

Oh my goodness, I've never found a sand dollar in my life and on this trip we found tons! These are just a few that were along the beach right in front of our hotel.
Last year when we went to the beach Cairi LOVED the water, this year she didn't want anything to do with it but LOVED the sand. So silly.
Gabe loved both the sand AND the water, he'd try to crawl right out into the waves.

This was right where we were when we were catching crabs. It was so fun! We caught at least 10 and made a little habitat for them and then set them free the next day. They eat meat so we fed them turkey and they loved it. Cairi got the biggest kick out of watching them eat. She'd say "ohhh cute".
Chris wrote this in the sand where I couldn't see it until we got further up on the cliff. I would've passed right by it but I'm lucky my mom saw it and told me to come see. It pretty much melted my heart. Ya, I love him.

What a fun trip!! I've never even heard of Pismo Beach, but you make me want to go there! You have such a beautiful family, and it looks like you all have so much fun together! That's so cute what Chris wrote in the sand, awe! :)

Great memories with my favorite/best peoples ;) Thank you so much for making this a wonderful vacation and bringing my dream to life!!! We are slowly but surely making it up the coast. Too bad we can't end each night searching for santiques, aka, sand dollars :)or cruising the lake before bedtime. Love you sooo much <3 See you in the morning :D
Such fun your trip looked! I've never even heard of PIsmo beach, but I want to go there asap after seeing all of your pictures! I noticed that when Cai smiles in some of her pictures she's got a crooked smile and I think it's SO cute!!! Can't wait to see and meet Penelope :) She's going to be a doll just like her big brother and sister!
