Big Sis and Lil Bro

It's still hard for me to believe that I'm a mommy of TWO!! So far things have been really easy going. Chris is a TREMENDOUS help and Gabe is an extremely laid back baby. I was really anxious for my first day without Chris but thankfully it came and went without any problems. Grandma Kelly has also been a life saver! I couldn't hold Cairi for the first two weeks out of the hospital but with my mom here Cairi has hardly noticed a change in her daily routine. One of her favorite things to do is run errands with grandma which gives mommy and daddy a chance to get other things done. I don't know what I'd do without my mom and I'm sure glad I don't have to find out!! There are so many things I have to be thankful for but my family is definitely number one on my list.

Anyway, I just wanted to post a quick update. A lot of people have been asking me if I think it's harder having two kids and I'm happy to say that for me it hasn't been, but I also have a lot of help! Here are some fun pics of Cairi and Gabe.

This is the first time Cairi has ever fallen asleep on her own. Usually when she is ready for a nap we get her a bottle and we cuddle in bed til she falls asleep. On this particular day however, she must have been really tired because she just tuckered out right in her chair while watching a movie. SO stinkin' cute!

This is an old doll house that my mom brought out of storage and that Cairi can't get enough of. Apparently she thinks she's Godzilla because her favorite thing to do is climb onto the second level and just hang out. She'll sing and dance and shake her bum. We've attemped to videotape it but she stops if she sees us filming her lol.

Aww, my two munchkins watching a movie together. Cairi usually never lays on the floor. Her favorite places to watch a movie are on her chair or in mine or Chris's lap. After I  laid her blanket out though and laid little brother down next to her she didn't want to move. She would point at Gabe and you could just tell she thought it was pretty cool to be laying on the floor with him. She's such a good big sister. She also likes to throw away his diapers and bring him his burp rag. How precious!
