This Stuff is Crazy!!

Sooo... I don't know how I feel about this blogging stuff. It's a little bit too complicated if you ask me. However, despite not knowing what I'm doing, I am here to give it a try. Basically any of you that will bother reading this probably already know me rather well so I won't go into the whole "this is who I am, what I like, blah blah blah". Instead we will have a brief rundown of the important parts of my life up until today.

On October 3, 2006 I married my best friend and the most amazing person I have ever met, Chris. We have been married for about a year and five months now and are expecting our very first baby!! WAHOO!!!!!!! Most of you know this has been my dream for a very long time now and the fact that it is finally being realized is just amazing to me. I couldn't feel more blessed. As of today I'm just 2 days shy of being 14 weeks along and officially out of my first trimester. This coming Monday, the 24th, we will find out what we're having (if the baby's in a good position and all that jazz). I really don't think anything could've prepared me for the wonderful miracle that is growing inside my belly.

Chris and I knew we were ready to be parents pretty early on in our marriage and were a little discouraged when it took us so long to conceive, but ever since we read the big fat positive on the home pregnancy test our world has been turned upside down and we've never had so much fun. All I can do is think about being a mommy, I'm sure I bore all the girls at work to death with my non-stop baby talk but I've never been more excited for anything in my life. I've already found myself crying when watching baby shows so I can't imagine what the day will be like when I actually get to hold my baby in my arms. That's about everything that's consuming my life right now so I'll keep everyone updated.
